Readary
is an independent charity that provides children’s books to schools across Sierra Leone. Our mission is to utilize literacy to elevate youth voices in underserved communities.
Readary partners with libraries, youth groups, and corporations across the United States to collect k-12 books. These books are then shipped to Freetown, Sierra Leone, where our local partners distribute them to schools across the nation.

Founder
Nina Wu is a youth advocate based in Los Angeles, USA. She serves as the founder of Readary, an international charity providing illiterate children with the resources necessary to read, learn, and communicate. She is also a youth advocate for gender equality and accessible education. Beyond her work, you can find Nina playing cello in parks.
